Daisy May

So i have never blogged about my dog.. This is Daisey..she is 2 years ol dand we have had her since she was about 3 months old..if oyu do the math she is the same age as Bailey and we got her when bailey was just a few months old..i know that Brad and i have a bad rap when it comes to dogs but serously all the other ones were jstu retarded..Daisy however is very smart..i actually havent blogged about ehr because i wanted to make sure she was smart before we inserted her in to out picture albums:) anywho... She is cool and she is Baileys best friend.

Ok so i am not good at arranging pictures o my blog yet.. The above picture is of Bailey and my stepmom..

Bailey is 2 years old!!!

I cant believe it!! My Little girl is 2. Hey party was fun..lots of Daisey and yellow. She wanted a bike and her Mamaw and Pappy got her one..She rides it all the time..she actually just goes to the garage and sits on it if no one will take her outside.. We took the rail off her bed last week..she is doing much better sleeping now.. Dr.Taylor said at her 3 year check p that the reason that she choke all the time is because her tonsils are huge...sooo...wea re having them taken out this summer. I tell Brad all the time that i am so happy that God gave me a girl..she is awesome.

Braden just finisheg basketball season this week. He did great!! He was the second youngest boy playing wih 1st and 2nd graders. Kids that age are all ball hogs, and there can be 5 men on 1 with the ball..However Braden did manage to make one shot..we were so proud..so was he. He had a loosing season bu braden learned alot and had a blast!!

Brad coached and had a good time..there are always those few kids that make you want to pull your hair out.
Wow!! I guess it has been a while.. I have alot to talk about though. First, and the most obvious KENYA!!!! It was so great. I truely felt at home there. I have to say Into Abbas Arms was my favorite part. Everyone asks if there were a hundred children i wanted to bring home but there wasnt, There was only one. Newton is 7 years old and he has only been at IAA for about a year. His mom died and i dont know anything aout his dad. I fell in love with him. because of the tough adoption laws in Kenya there is really no way of being able to bring him home so will be writing to him alot and helping in any way i can from here.

The slum was interesting. In some ways it is exactly like the pictured show the slums to be.poor, dirty, and hungry. There was open sewage every wear. and lost, homeless children. However, I saw most of the people as happy. They dont know what they don't have. The entire time i was in Kenya i never had 1 person be less than kind to me or anyone else on the team.

The game reserve was awesome!! Lots of Zebras, they became uncool because there were so many. A few herds of Elephants, Lions, lots of water buffalo, gazelle, dobies..a few hyenas. It was amazing. God has created such a huge world that we dont see in America.

Over all my opinion of Kenya is ...everyone should see it once or twice.. I do want to go back but probably under different circumstances...someday!!

OK beforei get any more hate mail...Here we go!!! What a winter..I put a pair of Bradens jeans on him this morning that he wore no more that 3 weeks ago and he couldn't pull them up they were so small..I guess he has grown..School is going great for him. His teachers tell me that he is the responsible one that they have run errands and stuff.. I am so proud of the boy he is growing to be..He just got a basketball goal this weekend and i am amazed..I knew that he spent alot of time practicing but i didn't realize how good he is doing. He is in a league with 1st and 2ND graders and he is just as good or better than most of them. but i am not bragging:) He is reading really well, practice practice!!
Lucas is finally getting past some behavior issues and i am realizing that he will just be different than Braden. His hands are dong ok. The doctors will look again at the end of the summer but he will likely need surgery eventually.. He is learning his letters and numbers so quickly..It took Braden a while to pick them up but Luke seems to learn when he is not meaning too. He is also getting so big..I am shocked at how quickly time is passing.Which brings me to Bailey
She will be 2 in a few months!!! I think that everyone needs at least 1 boy and 1 girl so that you can truly see the way God makes us different. Bailey has tea parties, and dress up while the boys are throwing punches at each other and playing cars. Bailey loves to shop..she will take cloths off of a rack and tell me "look mommy..cute" Her favorite is shoes..she and daddy shop for those together. She will start tumbling in the fall but i take her to open gym now and she loves of.she does somersaults and flips in the bar (with help)...so cute
We had a great Christmas!! nothing huge to report i dont think.. We enjoyed the big snow..Uncle Ryan build an igloo and they had a blast in it..
I leave for Kenya in 9 days!!!! I am ready as much as i can be. I feel like this is the last 9 days of my life for alot of things. I hope it changes alot of things about me..I dont think i realize how much it will..
While i am gone the Fam is going to Florida for vacation!! They will have fun but i will miss them..Brad promised that they wouldn't go to Disney bit they are going to Sea World!! Fun!!
Well i need to clean but i wanted to update so Nichole cold calm down:)
By the way i am still figuring out picture placement
